I need to learn how to cook

At our hostile they have free pasta. You can use the kitchen and cook pasta if you want and you can make your own sauce. Of course Marie, Scott, and I just bought some sauce to put on the pasta because we could all go for a nice cheap meal. We were cooking our food and and Italian guy started cooking up some onions. He was making in authentic Italian sauce. He couldn't speak English but he just looked over at the bottle and said `no good, no good, this is good` and pointed to his dish. His sauce looked delicious. He was very nice and we all had a fun time trying to communicate. He told us that everyone in Italy can at least cook a little. I feel like I should learn too because it looks fun and I'm sure it tastes a lot better.
